ENCOUNTER: Meeting Points on Buffalo Bayou grasped the history and the change of the foundation that Houston, Texas was built upon. It was a self-guided tour of six Buffalo Bayou's East Sector installations with the collaborative efforts from the University of Houston Graphic Design Program. These interactive installations express ideas about the bayou’s relation to the East End and Fifth Ward communities. My group worked with the Allen's Landing location, which was the first port and center point of Buffalo Bayou's growing history.
